Frank Lombardi earned his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University in New York in 1991, and his Master of Science in Aviation Systems Flight Testing from the University of Tennessee Space Institute in 2008. His passion for life has led to the melding of many disciplines.
Besides working primarily as a police helicopter pilot, Frank continues to be involved in the engineering and flight testing of aircraft. Since 2009 he has also been a regular columnist for Rotor & Wing Magazine.
Photography has proven to become an increasingly important part of his life, for both work and personal enjoyment. He takes pride in continually learning, and improving upon all the skills necessary to produce compelling photos and video of the world through his eyes.
